New York City. Aug. 3, 2019. Everybody knows that Kimberly McDonald put geodes on the high-end jewelry map, so it should come as no surprise to see geode and geode-inspired charms join her collection.

McDonald’s charms are made in 18k yellow, white, or rose gold and feature a variety of precious gems and colored diamonds, though all are rendered in her signature geode shape. All charms are one-of-a-kind and are made to reflect the organic shapes of gemstones that the designer loves.

“I take inspiration from their natural shapes to create these charms,” explains McDonald. “These pieces work perfectly with more natural stones like geodes and agate, and they are perfect for layering.”

The charms are a natural evolution for the KMD collector, who likely already has other jewels with similar silhouettes. Retail prices for a finished bracelet start at $39,875, and pieces are customizable.
