Hello, Jewelry Insiders!

I’m thrilled to officially welcome you back to my editorial platform and original content—just in time for Las Vegas Jewelry Week.

This relaunch feels especially meaningful because I’m joined by two people I deeply admire: Eileen McClelland, a multi-award-winning journalist who spent 18 years at INSTORE, and the legendary Rob Bates, my longtime friend, mentor, and one of the industry’s leading voices on diamonds and market analysis. Eileen has an unmatched understanding of the retail jewelry landscape, while Rob consistently delivers the kind of big-picture insight our industry needs. For this issue, I invited them both to share what should be top of mind as we head into one of the year’s most important trade events.

Over the past several years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with some of the jewelry industry’s most respected organizations and businesses, creating editorial content, storytelling campaigns, and creating targeted eblasts, social media features, and print projects that help companies better connect with retailers, designers, and the wider trade.

My work with AGTA (I am their editor in chief of content), Rapaport, and INSTORE continues to be deeply rewarding, and those experiences—as well as countless conversations at trade shows and industry events around the world—have reminded me how much appetite there still is for thoughtful jewelry journalism.

At the same time, many brands, designers, and dealers have increasingly turned to me to help tell their stories in meaningful ways. Combined with the highly targeted industry audience and email network I’ve built over nearly three decades covering this business, it became clear that the time was right to bring this platform back in a bigger and more modern way.

I’ve also strengthened my social media presence thanks to an outstanding hire, another longtime friend and a jewelry designer, Laurence Bruyninckx, who is skilled in marketing, videography, graphics, and making beautiful jewelry (have you seen her bridal line?).

Together, we’ve reimagined my social media accounts and now this website to better reflect the way our industry communicates today. While journalism remains at the heart of everything I do, platforms like Instagram with its video storytelling Reels, email newsletters, and other types of digital editorial have become incredibly powerful for connecting businesses with the trade in meaningful and visually engaging ways.

Over the past year especially, more brands, designers, and dealers have turned to us for help telling their stories, showcasing collections, highlighting expertise, and reaching targeted audiences within the industry. Those partnerships and sponsored projects don’t just create visibility for the companies involved—they also allow us to continue traveling to trade shows, researching market shifts, discovering emerging talent, and producing the kind of thoughtful reporting and insider coverage that keeps insiders informed, inspired, and ahead of what’s happening in the market.

The same is true for memberships and newsletter subscribers. This platform is designed to bring readers closer to the conversations, trends, people, and ideas shaping the jewelry world in real time—through original reporting, journalism, and insider access built from nearly three decades in the industry.

Moving forward, I’ll be publishing a monthly newsletter featuring original reporting, trend insights, retail ideas, interviews, market observations, and curated industry news—all designed to help retailers, designers, and jewelry professionals stay informed without feeling overwhelmed. My goal is simple: deliver the most relevant, insightful, and useful information directly to your inbox, with context and perspective that you won’t find in a press release.

If you’d like to inquire about editorial partnerships, content creation, publishing services, social media collaborations, or print projects, reach me at Jennifer@jenniferheebner.com.

In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this first issue back. We packed it with insights, trends, and must-know information for Las Vegas—and this is only the beginning.

Thank you for being here.
