Norwalk, Conn. Sept. 3, 2020. The 41-year-old Jewelers International Show (JIS) announced a major date change to its January 2021 Miami Beach show. The next edition will be held March 22–24, 2021, at the Miami Beach Convention Center and will reflect a combination of the size of the January event while incorporating the timing and the niche market found at its April event.
JIS March is scheduled to be one of the first major jewelry trade-only events for 2021 and is positioned to give jewelry retailers more time to restock after holiday seasons and plan for Mother’s Day inventory needs.
“The JIS shows have always been timed based around the needs of jewelry retailers, and the move to March is reflective of those needs evolving,” says Jordan Tuchband, industry vice president, JIS Shows. “By moving the January show to March and combining it with the content from our April show, it immediately allows for a larger, more robust, and diversified event that is in a far better position to meet the needs of the modern jewelry industry.”
The focus of the event is to create the best experience for professionals to buy and sell product through top-notch health and safety protocols, personalized matchmaking services, and immediate at-show delivery. JIS is known for reaching thousands of trade-only jewelry attendees from Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as others in the U.S.
