New York City. Sept. 1, 2020. Jewelry manufacturer KC Designs has long worked with partners worldwide to create their karat-gold and diamond styles, but the brand has just unveiled a new curated offering of basics and trend-driven jewels call the KCNY Collection. The looks are made exclusively in New York City in an effort to support local manufacturing.
“We wanted to separate out some of the locally made items to focus on our commitment to supporting local manufacturing jobs, so we created the KCNY Collection,” explains Tiffany Sabo in a phone interview yesterday.
The KCNY Collection has just over 100 pieces to date made in 14k gold. Pieces include talismans and celestial charms, diamond crosses, simple bezel-set diamonds on adjustable chains, and diamond initial necklaces.
The collection was born from the brand’s recent decision to reconsider some overseas manufacturing. Plus, U.S.-based production helps retail clients by way of quick delivery, especially on rush orders. “This helps the economy and supports local jobs,” adds Sabo.
