New York City. Aug. 28, 2020. Fifteen-year-old family-owned jewelry brand Zoe & Morgan, from Auckland, New Zealand, recently teamed up with Gemfields to create a responsibly sourced ruby jewelry collection. The collection is called Zoe & Morgan x Gemfields.
Minimalist designs feature necklaces and rings in triangular and diamond shapes (a silhouette that represents female energy). Each Gemfields-sourced ruby is selected for cut, clarity, and character from the Montepuez mine in Mozambique. Rubies, of course, are the birthstone of July and are associated with passion, prosperity, and protection.
Upon the collection’s debut, the jewelry brand called Gemfields “an inspiring ethical company, [which] has a great respect for these precious gems and their origins.”
Retail prices range from $1,134–$1,386 and pieces are available online at Zoe and Morgan.
